Tejaswin Shankar takes Asian Games decathlon bronze after 1500m win

Tejaswin Shankar won the decathlon bronze at the Asian Games on 27 September 2026 after triumphing in the 1500m race.

Shankar finished with a total of 7,934 points, while Japan's Yuma Maruyama took the gold.

Ancy Sojan placed second in the women's long jump behind China's Yingying Huang.
