Thea Frodin, who played Serena’s body double in 'King Richard', makes U.S. Open debut

Seventeen-year-old Thea Frodin is making her U.S. Open singles debut in New York against No. 2-ranked Elena Rybakina after earning a wild card, the Times of India reported on September 1, 2026.

Before stepping onto the court in New York, Frodin appeared in the film "King Richard" as Serena Williams’ body double.

She says tennis remains her priority, but she would love to balance her career with acting if Hollywood calls again.
