Tiffany Stratton to defend Women’s U.S. title vs Jacy Jayne as SmackDown heads to TD Garden on August 14, 2026

WWE will stage the August 14, 2026 edition of Friday Night SmackDown live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, with Tiffany Stratton defending the Women’s United States Championship against Jacy Jayne and Baron Corbin set to put the United States Championship on the line against Carmelo Hayes. The show will also feature a triple threat for the WWE Tag Team titles involving champions Wepa Up (R-Truth & Damian Priest), the War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) and The Tongans (Talla & Tama Tonga).

The announced card follows the August 7 SmackDown fallout show from Philadelphia that addressed storylines from SummerSlam. That episode included a heated promo exchange between CM Punk and Kevin Owens that escalated into a shoving match, a confrontation in which Cody Rhodes attempted to reach Randy Orton but Orton escaped, and Alexa Bliss returning alongside debuting partner Tatum Paxley to even the odds for Charlotte Flair against Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin.

Baron Corbin retained the United States Championship against Trick Williams on the August 7 show after striking Williams with the title, and later that night Corbin was ambushed backstage by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes told Corbin he had met with Nick Aldis and “he’s got the US title match for his hometown next week,” setting up the Corbin-Hayes rematch for the Boston broadcast.

Chelsea Green’s title celebration on SmackDown was interrupted by Fatal Influence — Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid — and Jayne vowed to take the Women’s United States title from Tiffany Stratton. After Henley and Reid defeated Green and Stratton to retain their titles, Stratton was booked to defend the Women’s United States Championship in Boston against Jayne on August 14.

Wepa Up (R-Truth & Damian Priest) will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match against the War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) and The Tongans (Talla & Tama Tonga) on the August 14 show. WWE also listed CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Trick Williams and Gunther among the featured superstars for the Boston edition of SmackDown.

Money in the Bank is confirmed as the next premium live event following SummerSlam 2026 and is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
