TNA Impact returns on August 6 with Xia Brookside vs Wendy Choo and Matt Hardy vs Ryan Nemeth

TNA Impact returns on Thursday, August 6, following last week’s show from Philadelphia, with TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside defending her title against WWE NXT’s Wendy Choo and Matt Hardy scheduled to meet Ryan Nemeth in a singles bout.
The episode serves as part of the build toward the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view and features a mix of title defenses and tournament matches. The second round of the TNA Knockouts Television Title tournament will see Mara Sade face Heather by Elegance. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) are set to address fans for the first time since their loss to the Hardys in The Righteous Deletion match. A separate singles match on the card pairs AJ Francis with the Home Town Man.
Xia Brookside will put the Knockouts World Championship on the line against Wendy Choo, who is billed from WWE NXT. That match is presented as one of the marquee attractions for the August 6 show and appears on the promotional lineup alongside other title-focused encounters. The Brookside–Choo contest adds a championship defense to the weekly television program.
Matt Hardy will compete in singles action against Ryan Nemeth on the August 6 episode. Hardy is one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions and his singles match precedes the tag title confrontation at Lockdown. Matt and Jeff Hardy are scheduled to defend the TNA World Tag Team Titles against Nic and Ryan Nemeth at the pay-per-view in Chicago.
The Knockouts Television Title tournament advances with Mara Sade meeting Heather by Elegance in a second-round pairing. That tournament continues to occupy the Knockouts division storyline on weekly Impact episodes. Results from this round will determine which competitors move closer to the tournament final.
The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) will make an on-screen address for the first time since their defeat in The Righteous Deletion match against the Hardys, a segment that figures into the broader tag-team narrative. AJ Francis is also scheduled for a singles match against the Home Town Man on the same show, adding further undercard interest. Both segments are listed among the announced items for the August 6 broadcast.
TNA Impact airs Thursday at 9 PM ET on AMC and AMC+ in the United States, is available on TNA+ worldwide and will broadcast at 8 PM ET on Sportsnet 360 in Canada. In India the programme airs Friday at 6:30 AM IST on Euro Sports Network and TNA+, while viewers in the UK and Ireland can watch on DAZN and TNA+ at 2 AM BST on Friday.
The August 6 episode functions as the build-up to the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view, which is scheduled for August 23 in Chicago, Illinois.
