Top storylines for WWE Raw in Buffalo on August 17, 2026

Monday Night Raw airs live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York on August 17, 2026 and will feature Roman Reigns, Oba Femi, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Sol Ruca and Penta. The show will continue the World Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament and include several headline segments tied to the Bloodline storyline.

The World Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament advances with two final first-round matches on the card, while Chad Gable is scheduled to defend against Rey Mysterio and Lyra Valkyria will face Sol Ruca. Roman Reigns is also set to address recent Bloodline developments after Jey Uso’s stipulation victory over Solo Sikoa last week.

WWE has teased a program between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, and the promotion ran matches featuring the two in dark matches and at live events last week. It is not clear from WWE’s announcements what the long-term plan for the pairing will be.

The ongoing Bloodline storyline is expected to intersect with any segment involving Knight and Reigns.

Last week’s August 10 main event saw Jey Uso defeat Solo Sikoa in a match with the stipulation that a loss would force Solo to rejoin the Bloodline; Solo lost and, as stipulated, Jey will deliver Solo Sikoa to Roman Reigns tonight. The segment raises the question of whether Solo will return to his enforcer role after his recent babyface run, and the show may feature outside interference from LA Knight or from Royce Keys, who was injured by Jacob Fatu two weeks ago.
