Tottenham close to £160m double deal for Savinho and Omar Marmoush

Tottenham are close to agreeing summer deals to sign Manchester City’s Savinho and Omar Marmoush to the north London club, The Guardian reported on 21 August 2026.

The two separate deals are worth a combined £160m and form part of summer spending on De Zerbi’s squad that nears £400m.

Manchester City are close to agreeing the transfer of Savinho to Tottenham for £85m, while a separate deal of around £75m is being worked on for the arrival of Omar Marmoush from the FA Cup-winners.

Savinho signed for the City Football Group in summer 2022 for 40m euros (£30.8m), initially joined Troyes, and the prospective sale of the 22-year-old for £85m represents a near £55m profit for City’s owners; after loans at PSV and Girona he joined City two years ago but failed to establish himself as a first-choice under Pep Guardiola, the former manager.
