Trail Blazer and Invincible Force stand out in Pune morning gallops
Trail Blazer and Invincible Force were singled out during morning exercise at Pune on Sunday, August 9, 2026, when the horses were worked on the course.
A full slate of gallops was recorded across 600m, 800m, 1000m and 1200m on the morning session, with official times and brief rider notes attached to each work. Sunil) posted 1-11, 600/41 and was listed as Easy. Invincible Force (Yash) and Illusionist (Peter) both showed 1-6, 800/51, 600/38; the report states, "Former started three lengths behind and easily finished a distance ahead." Mock races were noted on Aug. 8 on the race track. In a 1200m mock, Mother’s Gift (A. Gaikwad), Sequential (Avinash), Lumineer (Peter), Sukoon (Dashrath), Remy Red (Zeeshan), Horizon (S.J. Sunil), Esconido (Mosin) and Aquilius (Bhawani) posted 1-12, 600/37; the race was won by margins of 2-3/4, 2 and Short Head, with Mother’s Gift described as racing third far behind until the bend, coming very well in the straight to win. The second mock, over 1400m, featured Miss American Pie (Parmar), Kimiko (Bharat), Chicago Chimes (Bhawani), Lickety Split (J. Chinoy), Augustus (Kaviraj) and Acrobatic (Neeraj) with a card line of 1-30, 600/35; the winning margins were listed as 6, Dist and 4, and "Miss American Pie who was running second till the bend easily took charge in the last 200m and won the race comfortably."
