Two matches locked in for AEW Full Gear 2026, other bouts teased for Phoenix card

AEW has announced two matches for Full Gear 2026, scheduled for November 14, 2026, at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, with The Young Bucks set to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship and The Brawling Birds defending the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships. Other bouts have been teased for the Phoenix pay-per-view.

AEW recently concluded WrestleDream 2026 and has turned its focus to the annual Full Gear event, which will be the eighth edition of the show. The promotion confirmed Full Gear will take place in Phoenix and noted this will be only the second AEW pay-per-view to be held in Arizona. So far, the announced matches come from both the men’s and women’s tag team divisions. Only two matches have been officially revealed to date.

The reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), are scheduled to defend their titles against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle. That title match was made official after the Don Callis family duo dominated The Bucks in a Title Eliminator match on the October 21 episode of AEW Dynamite. The announcement followed the Dynamite result linking the challengers to a Full Gear title opportunity.

On the women's side, The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) will put the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships on the line against Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron). Hayter is currently out with an injury but is expected to return by Full Gear to participate in the title defence. The pairing of Statlander and Cameron is being promoted under the Wrathlander name for the challenge.

A further match has been teased that could see The New Level and Swerve Strickland challenge Brodido and Hangman Page for the AEW World Trios titles in a Texas Death Match. Strickland confronted those opponents on the October 21 episode of Dynamite, and Hangman accepted a Full Gear showdown but, as of this writing, declined the Texas Death stipulation. The trios confrontation therefore remains suggested rather than officially confirmed for the Phoenix card.

Full Gear is set for November 14, 2026, at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Other matches have been teased for the card, and the promotion has yet to announce the remainder of the Full Gear 2026 lineup.
