Tyche, Astrid, Never Give In and Czar excel at Bengaluru morning exercise

Tyche, Astrid, Never Give In and Czar excelled when the horses were exercised at the Bengaluru track on Saturday morning (August 22).

The training session covered distances from 600m up to 1,400m and featured a range of riders and trainers reporting split times and gallop impressions. Riders named in the report included Kiran Rai, Rajesh K, Salman, Aleemuddin, Srinath, Tousif, Anish, Sachin, B. Paswan, shinde, rb and SK. Paswan. Observations recorded alongside times used descriptors such as "strod out well", "moved well", "easy", "in fine trim" and "moved fluently." In the 1,000m and related work, Anzac Parade (Tousif) had 1-15 with a 600/45.5 and was marked "Easy." Mystikos (Srinath) posted 1-15 with a 600/43.5 and was "In fine trim." Sigrid (Aleemuddin) recorded 1-12 with a 600/42.5 and was described as "Impressed." All Attraction (B. Paswan) did 1-16, 600/46 and was "Easy," Power Of Beauty (Anish) managed 1-14, 600/42 and was "In fine shape," Mandalay (Aleemuddin) produced 1-12, 600/43 and was said to have "Shaped well," and Brave Heart (Sachin) did 1-13, 600/46.5 and "Eased up."

On 1,200m and related pieces, Rosaline (Aleemuddin) posted 1-32 with (1,200-600) 44 and was "Easy." Carter (shinde) covered 1-30 with 1,000/1-12.5, 600/43 and "Strode out well." Tyche (Srinath) recorded 1-24, 1,000/1-9, 600/42 and "Moved fluently." Nimbus Speed (Tousif) did 1-27.5, 1,000/1-12.5, 600/44 and "Moved impressively." Flaming Sword (rb) and Defence Counsel (Tousif) each did 1-26.5, 1,000/1-10.5, 600/43.5 and were noted as "They pleased."

Czar (Aleemuddin) and Never Give In (Aleemuddin) also featured in the 1,200m work: Czar posted 1-30, 1,000/1-11, 600/41.5 and was recorded as "In fine shape," while Never Give In did 1-29.5, 1,000/1-13, 600/41 and was described as "A good display."

The longer 1,400m moves included Panache (rb) and Quintus Arrius (Tousif) at 1-46 with (1,400-600) 58.5 and "They moved freely." Astrid (Srinath) and Jersey King (Tousif) covered 1-43.5 with 1,200/1-25, 1,000/1-10, 600/42 and "They moved fluently." Acantha (Srinath) did 1-45, 1,200/1-27.5, 1,000/1-11.5, 600/43 and was said to have "Stretched out well," and Executive One (SK. Paswan) posted 1-46, 1,200/1-29, 1,000/1-14, 600/44.5 and "Moved well."
