UEFA has rejected FIFA’s apology over the failed FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal and said its conditions for avoiding a potential boycott of FIFA competitions have not been met, the Times of India reported on August 7, 2026, after a crisis meeting in Morocco.
UEFA said its concerns over Gianni Infantino’s leadership remain unresolved.
FIFA admitted mistakes and reaffirmed support for Infantino at the Morocco crisis meeting, the report added.
