US Open 2026 mixed doubles: field, prize money and points on offer
Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz are among the entrants in the US Open 2026 Mixed Doubles Championship at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, which runs from August 24 to 26. The main draw has been finalised ahead of the three-day event.
A high-profile list of pairings tops the entry: Novak Djokovic with Aryna Sabalenka, Alexander Zverev with Taylor Townsend, and Taylor Fritz with Jessica Pegula. Other announced combinations include Diana Shnaide-Casper Ruud, Belinda Bencic-Flavio Cobolli, and Amanda Anisimova -Learner Tien. Defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori are also part of the recognised entries.
Wild cards have boosted the roster’s profile, with Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz receiving wild-card entries alongside Emma Navarro and Tommy Paul. Additional wild cards were awarded to Alex Eala and Felix Auger-Aliassime, Leylah Fernandez and Frances Tiafoe, and Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils. Those selections join the defending champions in the main draw.
A qualifying competition of eight teams will determine the two remaining main-draw places. Henry Patten, currently the ATP’s World No. 1 in doubles, has paired with WTA doubles No. 1 Katerina Siniakova in the qualifying field. Neal Skupski is partnered with Luisa Stefani and Lloyd Glasspool with Erin Routliffe, while Gabriela Dabrowski and Harri Heliövaara, Aleksandra Krunic and Mate Pavic, Jelena Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo, and Mirra Andreeva and Andrey Rublev are also listed among the qualifiers.
Prize-money allocations for the mixed doubles event are: $1,000,000 for the winners, $500,000 for the runners-up, $250,000 for semifinalists, $120,000 for quarterfinalists and $40,000 for first-round losers. Qualifying compensation is set at $20,000 for reaching Q2 and $10,000 for appearing in Q1.
The event carries no ATP or WTA ranking points, and the mixed-doubles results will not be added to players’ singles or doubles ranking totals. Organisers note competitors are contesting the title and prize money over the brief, two- to three-day schedule.
The total prize fund for the mixed doubles draw is $2,880,000 [Rs 27.46 crore], with the champion pair receiving $1,000,000 [Rs 9.52 crore] and the losing finalists $500,000 [Rs 4.77 crore]. The qualifying rounds will conclude before the main draw begins on August 24, when the US Open mixed doubles competition will start and run through August 26 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
