US PlayStation users could receive payments from $7.8 million class-action settlement
Sony PlayStation users in the United States may be eligible for payments from a $7.8 million class-action settlement over digital purchases made through the PlayStation Store, the report published on August 8, 2026 said. Eligible users do not need to submit a claim form to receive compensation, according to the settlement terms. Compensation is expected to be credited directly to recipients’ Sony PlayStation Network wallets (PSN) rather than paid in cash.
