Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has broken five notable records in his short career, including becoming the youngest man to score a century in a men’s T20 match when he struck a 35-ball hundred for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans in the 2025 Indian Premier League. His achievements span domestic, franchise and international cricket across 2025–26.

A teenager who progressed rapidly from domestic cricket, Sooryavanshi completed a debut season with Rajasthan Royals before entering the 2026 campaign under strong public attention. He made his international T20I debut this year and followed that with an impactful series for India on their tour of Zimbabwe. Across formats and competitions he has produced several headline-making innings that resulted in record-breaking milestones.

Sooryavanshi became the youngest player to score a century in men’s T20 cricket when he produced a 35-ball hundred for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans in his debut IPL season in 2025; he was 14 years and 32 days old at the time.

In the 2026 IPL season he hit 72 sixes, the highest number recorded by any cricketer in a single season of any T20 tournament, surpassing Chris Gayle’s previous tally of 59 that had stood since 2012.

On India’s tour of Zimbabwe he scored 151 runs in three innings and was named player of the series, becoming the youngest player to win that award in men’s international cricket; he was 15 years old during that series.

In the 2025–26 Vijay Hazare Trophy he became the youngest player to score a List A century, making 190 off 84 balls for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh at the age of 14 years and 272 days and reaching his hundred in 36 balls.

During the Duleep Trophy 2026 semi-final against Central Zone he reached a fifty off 42 balls and finished on 92; at 15 years and 157 days he broke a record previously held by Laxman Singh for 57 years.
