The Golden State Valkyries hosted the Atlanta Dream in San Francisco in the winner-take-all Game 7 of the 2026 WNBA Finals on October 31, 2026.
Halloween fell on the night of the first Game 7 in WNBA history, and supporters turned out in costumes outside the Chase Center before tipoff.
Both teams were seeking their first WNBA championship. The Valkyries entered the playoffs as the No 2 seed in their second season, having established themselves among the WNBA’s elite, and their postseason began with a scare against the seventh-seeded Dallas Wings, who pushed the series to a deciding third game before Golden State advanced 2-1.
