Vengsarkar urges BCCI to reinstate toss in U-23 matches

Former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar on November 8, 2026 urged the BCCI to restore the toss in Under-23 matches after it was abolished.

He said the decision strips the game of its excitement and strategic depth. He added that teams must learn to adapt to different playing conditions and warned that home advantage may be compromised if pitch conditions are too favorable.
