Volkanovski to defend featherweight title against Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi

Alexander Volkanovski will defend the UFC Featherweight title against Movsar Evloev on the 14-fight UFC 333 card at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Volkanovski reclaimed the title in 2025 and defended it in early 2026 in a rematch against Diego Lopes, making this his second title defence of the year. Movsar Evloev, who debuted in 2019, has compiled 10 wins and will compete for a UFC title for the first time this weekend.

The co-main event pits Petr Yan against Merab Dvalishvili in the third meeting between the pair. Dvalishvili defeated Yan in 2023 while progressing toward championship gold; Yan then stepped away to recover from several injuries before returning with three consecutive victories to earn another title shot. In their rematch Yan shut down Dvalishvili’s pressure and takedown attempts to secure a unanimous decision victory and begin his second title reign.
