World Heavyweight No. 1 Contender brackets updated after WWE Raw in Buffalo

Rey Fenix defeated El Fiscal and Dragon Lee defeated El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. on the August 17 edition of WWE Raw in Buffalo, New York, concluding the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Tournament. Both winners advanced into the semi-finals.
The tournament will determine the challenger to World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns for the September 14 edition of WWE Raw in Mexico City. Penta and La Parka had already secured their places in the bracket last week — Penta on Monday Night and La Parka on Saturday’s AAA show — producing the updated brackets after the first round this Monday in Buffalo.
The semi-finals are scheduled for the August 24 show of Monday Night Raw, which will air live from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Penta will face AAA’s La Parka in the first semi-final, while Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee will meet in the second, with the winners advancing to the tournament final.
The tournament final will be contested on the September 14 edition of WWE Raw as Roman Reigns (c) vs Winner of the tournament – World Heavyweight title match. That September 14 episode is set to air live from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, and will feature the World Heavyweight title match.
SmackDown will emanate live from Arena CDMX in Mexico City on September 11, 2026, with Monday Night Raw following at the same venue on September 14, 2026. WWE will return to Mexico with its weekly shows for the first time in 15 years; the shows take place during TripleMania 34 weekend, with the TripleMania event scheduled for Arena CDMX on September 13 and Night 1 held at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on September 11.
The next confirmed dates in the tournament schedule are the August 24 semi-finals in Ottawa and the September 14 conclusion on WWE Raw in Mexico City.
