WWE’s Crown Jewel 2026, scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District, is in doubt after a reported missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10. “The U.S. Mission is aware of attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10 and strongly recommends all U.S. citizens avoid this airport and surrounding areas.”

WWE had just concluded the 2026 Money in the Bank premium live event in New Orleans, leaving Crown Jewel as the next scheduled PLE on its calendar. Crown Jewel is officially listed for November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium in KAFD and was expected to include champion-versus-champion matches featuring current champions Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green. No change to that schedule has been announced by WWE.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh issued an urgent security alert following the reported strike on King Khalid International Airport and advised Americans to avoid the airport and surrounding areas. U.S. government employees in Saudi Arabia will need special authorization to use the airport, according to the advisory.

Reports indicate WWE is reviewing regional security concerns and the potential for travel disruptions as it assesses next steps. Despite the internal discussions, WWE has not announced any postponement, cancellation or relocation of Crown Jewel.

Commentary within wrestling media has linked the airport incident to broader planning questions inside the company; Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline said the issue of hosting the event was a hot topic inside the company. Rumours have also circulated about WWE possibly staging WrestleMania 43 in North America, and some reports suggested this development could speed up that process.

WrestleMania 43 is planned to happen in Saudi Arabia in 2027, but its date has yet to be announced and no alternative venue for Crown Jewel has been confirmed. With Crown Jewel six weeks away, WWE and its partners have not issued an official statement on any change, and the company’s next actions will reflect ongoing assessments of the security situation and travel conditions.

Crown Jewel remains scheduled for November 7, 2026, at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District, while WrestleMania 43 is still planned for Saudi Arabia in 2027 with its date unannounced.
