WWE Crown Jewel champions list: Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan and others

The 2024 Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia introduced a Champion vs Champion format when Raw and SmackDown world champions faced each other to decide the inaugural men's and women's Crown Jewel Champions. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the first men's Crown Jewel title, while Women's World Champion Liv Morgan beat WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax to claim the inaugural women's crown.

The Championship winners received a 'massive ring' similar to a Super Bowl ring that 'shows the world that they are the one true champion in WWE.' That ring served as the primary tangible reward because the Crown Jewel Title itself remained in Saudi Arabia and the winners did not take the physical belts home. The format established at the 2024 event created an annual showdown between the top champions from Raw and SmackDown.

On the women's side, Liv Morgan is recorded as the inaugural Crown Jewel women's Champion after her win over Nia Jax. In 2025, Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton to claim the title, adding to the event's list of holders.

On the men's side, Cody Rhodes captured the first men's Crown Jewel Championship by defeating Gunther in 2024. Rhodes was once again the Undisputed Champion in his second reign and battled the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at the 2026 edition, where Rollins secured the win to capture the title.

The Crown Jewel Championship is contested only once each year at the namesake premium live event, with Raw and SmackDown champions meeting in a 'Champion vs Champion' match to determine that year's winner. The event's format and the presentation of a ring rather than a traditional belt have been repeated elements since the concept was introduced.

The eighth Crown Jewel premium live event will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Venue (ANB Arena) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2026, it’s once again time for the Champion vs Champion clash.
