WWE is scheduled to stage Crown Jewel, its next Premium Live Event, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7, 2026. The U.S. State Department has ordered non-essential embassy staff and their families to evacuate Saudi Arabia immediately amid strikes and attacks on airports.

Saudi Arabia has been caught up in major tensions amid the ongoing war, and many airports in the country, including Riyadh, have been subjected to multiple strikes by the Houthis. Al Jazeera English reported that one person was killed and eight people were injured in an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The Saudi civil aviation authority has reported material damage following the incidents.

The U.S. State Department alert warned that "the hostilities have the potential to escalate rapidly beyond the airport attacks." The evacuation order applied to non-essential embassy staff and their respective families, according to official notices cited in reports.

WWE has continued to advertise Crown Jewel in Riyadh, and many wrestling experts report the company plans to proceed with the event in Riyadh with no change. One report, however, says WWE has identified a backup U.S. city in case it needs to move the show. As of this writing, WWE still plans to host Crown Jewel outside Saudi Arabia.

Two matches have been made official on the current card, both for the Crown Jewel Championships: Chelsea Green versus Liv Morgan on the women's side and Roman Reigns versus Sami Zayn on the men's side. With Crown Jewel still two weeks away, the status of the event remains uncertain.

The event remains scheduled for November 7; given the U.S. evacuation order and recent airport attacks, it remains to be seen what happens next.
