WWE Raw (Oct. 19, 2026): The Bloodline clash with 946 in San Diego; Gable retains in triple threat
On October 19 at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, WWE Raw featured a confrontation between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, multiple televised matches, and a closing brawl in which The Bloodline and 946 traded blows ahead of Crown Jewel 2026. The episode’s card included Penta vs. Bron Breakker, Chad Gable defending the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix, and victories for Lola Vice, JD McDonagh, and the team of Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky.
Roman Reigns opened a segment seeking respect and attempted to recruit Sami Zayn to join him against 946; Zayn indirectly declined and Reigns warned he might not hold the Undisputed title until Crown Jewel 2026. OTC stood with Zayn during the face-off, and Penta’s appearance preceded his scheduled match later in the night. The show was presented as part of Raw’s build toward the upcoming premium live event.
Bron Breakker and Penta opened the in-ring action, with Breakker controlling the early phase through suplexes and a clothesline and driving Penta into the announce table during a commercial break. Penta withstood a Frankensteiner and interference from Austin Theory before nearly being finished by a mid-air spear; Theory attempted to use his briefcase but Je’Von Evans intervened. Evans took out Theory and then struck Breakker with the briefcase, enabling Penta to hit the Mexican Destroyer for the victory.
WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green teamed with Iyo Sky to face Roxanne Perez and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez, with the babyface team on the defensive early as Perez and Rodriguez isolated Sky. Green’s tag changed momentum, and despite late interference from Liv Morgan, Green and Sky completed the comeback. On the floor Green took out her Crown Jewel opponent and Perez, allowing Sky to deliver a hurricanrana into a rollup to pin Perez and seal the win.
Joe Hendry met JD McDonagh amid their month-long rivalry, a match disrupted by a person wearing a McDonagh Funko Pop head and Dominik Mysterio at ringside, who struck Hendry’s masked associate with a guitar. Mysterio’s interference proved decisive as McDonagh capitalised with a headbutt to defeat Hendry. The encounter added another chapter to the ongoing feud between Hendry and McDonagh.
Lyra Valkyria faced Lola Vice following a backstage altercation, with Valkyria initially targeting Vice’s back before Vice rallied with a spinning heel kick. The match turned when an unknown assailant grabbed Valkyria’s foot at ringside; Bayley then revealed herself as the attacker, distracting Valkyria and enabling Vice to hit the MIA backfist for the victory. After the bout Bayley and Valkyria continued their confrontation and Bayley challenged Valkyria to a match the following week.
Chad Gable defended the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix in a triple threat that saw near-falls from all competitors and a 619 attempt by Mysterio. Gable survived the sequence and rolled up the Hall of Famer to retain the title, drawing chants of “This is awesome” from the crowd. The post-match situation escalated when Ethan Page and Big Cass attacked Gable and Dragon Lee; Page laid out Gable and posed with the Intercontinental Championship, while Cass chokeslammed Lee onto the guardrail, leaving both Gable and Lee vulnerable.
The show’s final segment began with The Usos calling out 946 and Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Lucien Prince, and Bronco Nima answering the challenge accompanied by Jaida Parker. Solo Sikoa initially aided his brothers but Hayes attacked Sikoa’s knee with a crowbar, allowing 946 to overwhelm The Usos; Keys taunted Sikoa to inform Roman Reigns. The OTC arrived, joined The Bloodline in repelling the attackers, and the faction stood tall as the program moved toward Crown Jewel — a premium live event scheduled, as of the October 16 update, to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7.
