WWE Raw on October 19 in San Diego to feature Roman Reigns; Joe Hendry vs JD McDonagh set

Roman Reigns is confirmed to appear on the October 19 edition of WWE Raw, which will be broadcast live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. Joe Hendry is scheduled to return to in-ring action next week in a singles match against JD McDonagh.

The announcement follows the first Monday Night Raw after Money in the Bank 2026, which concluded at the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, on October 12. That show addressed fallout from the premium live event and began building toward Crown Jewel. WWE has confirmed two marquee matches at Crown Jewel featuring World Champions from both brands.

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns retained his title against LA Knight at Money in the Bank and missed Raw's post-pay-per-view fallout while promoting the Street Fighter movie. Reigns is now slated to appear on October 19 and is anticipated to address his upcoming clash with Undisputed Champion Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel, as well as the Bloodline-946 developments involving Carmelo Hayes.

Former US Champion Carmelo Hayes returned after a prolonged absence to attack Solo Sikoa and align with the 946 in the six-man tag team main event, contributing to major new developments in the Bloodline-946 storyline. The six-man tag served as the main event on the post-Money in the Bank Raw and reshaped that feud heading into the next premium live event.

Tiffany Stratton won the 2026 MITB ladder match, becoming the second woman to capture the briefcase twice, and WWE announced additional matches and segments for next week's Raw. Those announcements included the return match for Joe Hendry and a slate of featured performers for the San Diego show.

After repeatedly making fun of JD McDonagh's head size, Joe Hendry will make his in-ring return in a singles match against McDonagh on the October 19 show; WWE also listed Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Sol Ruca and Penta among the featured superstars for the night.

Crown Jewel is scheduled to take place at the Riyadh Season Stadium in KAFD, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7, 2026.
