WWE Raw preview: Roman Reigns returns as show goes live from St. Louis on October 5

Monday Night Raw will be broadcast live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 5, 2026, serving as the go-home show for Money in the Bank and featuring Roman Reigns’ return alongside several announced matches. Confirmed bouts include Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan in a No. 1 Contender’s Match, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice vs Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in a tag match, and Rey Fenix vs Ethan Page.
The episode arrives with Money in the Bank’s match card finalized and higher-stakes positioning for several performers; the winner of Lynch vs Morgan will challenge WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Money in the Bank after Vaquer chose to have a single challenger at the event. Although contenders for the ladder-based show are set, the Raw card gives wrestlers who are not in the MITB main events a chance to influence momentum heading into the pay-per-view.
Roman Reigns has not appeared on Raw since LA Knight confronted him following Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship victory over Penta and struck him with a BFT. WWE made Reigns versus Knight an official title match for Money in the Bank, and Knight had his say on the September 21 Raw edition.
The wider storyline between the Bloodline and faction 946 has intensified after Solo Sikoa’s abduction and Jacob Fatu being run down by Jaida Parker. With Knight openly questioning Reigns’ credibility as champion, the OTC will likely look to send a strong message before their championship showdown; Reigns is expected to address his upcoming title defense and could come face-to-face with Knight on the October 5 episode.
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan meet in a No. 1 Contender’s Match to determine who will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank. The bout was set after both wrestlers stated their desire for a title opportunity; during a recent confrontation Morgan questioned what Lynch had done to make the championship more meaningful, while Lynch fired back that Liv did not believe she could beat her one-on-one.
Sol Ruca and Lola Vice will team up to face Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez following events on the September 28 Raw, when Vice defeated Perez in her first singles match on the main roster and was attacked by Rodriguez. Sol Ruca rushed to Vice’s aid but Perez and Rodriguez overpowered both women, and the tag match gives Vice and Ruca a chance for revenge as the four remain involved in Money in the Bank storylines.
Rey Fenix and Ethan Page’s match was confirmed after Page confronted Fenix backstage, producing a heated exchange in which Fenix vowed to “kick Ethan Page’s a**”. Fenix has announced he will defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship across WWE’s brands; “All Ego” will look to capitalize on his challenge and capture the title while Fenix seeks to prove himself against a determined challenger.
WWE Monday Night Raw airs live on October 5, 2026, from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri; Money in the Bank is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
