WWE reportedly planning WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh; Worlds Collide to air on tape delay after Chicago taping

WWE is reported to be preparing WrestleMania 43 as a two-night event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in April 2027, and its Worlds Collide special — pre-taped in Chicago — will be shown on tape delay tonight at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels.

Fightful Select reported the company is considering the Saudi Arabia location for WrestleMania 43 and that representatives from Saudi Arabia have visited WWE headquarters for initial planning meetings; the promotion has stated the event will be a two-night spectacle in April 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and that it will be the first WrestleMania outside North America and only the third held outside the United States, following WrestleMania VI and WrestleMania X8 in Canada in 1990 and 2002.

Worlds Collide was recorded on Saturday at the Allstate Arena in Chicago and will air on tape delay tonight at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on AAA and WWE’s YouTube channels; the taping coincided with AEW All Out, which also emanated from Chicago. A promotional post ahead of the broadcast read: "¡MAÑANA! Sigue la transmisión de #WorldsCollide desde las 5pm (Hora CDMX 🇲🇽) por YouTube 📺 pic.twitter.com/tdpILD5tte."

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported the company considered moving the Worlds Collide telecast to avoid going head-to-head with AEW’s Dynamite tribute show for PAC, but the event now appears set to proceed as originally scheduled. Alvarez also noted there appears to be little agreement within the company over how the situation should be handled.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer suggested WWE’s counterprogramming strategy may aim beyond a single-night ratings battle, arguing that repeatedly scheduling events and premium live events against AEW could gradually affect Dynamite’s television audience and become a factor when AEW negotiates its next media-rights deals. Meltzer added he does not believe Worlds Collide by itself would significantly impact AEW’s ratings, but that sustained direct overlap could have a greater effect over time.

The promotion has not announced dates for the related premium live event(s) tied to WrestleMania 43. Fightful Select reported the company could announce the WrestleMania 43 date around the time of Crown Jewel in Riyadh on November 7, unless the announcement comes earlier; for ongoing coverage Khel Now directed readers to follow Khel Now Wrestling on social platforms and its mobile apps.
