Following Money in the Bank 2026, WWE has been the subject of fresh backstage reports in Stamford, with new items published on October 14, 2026 outlining creative shifts and communications changes.

Some fans expressed dissatisfaction with the Money in the Bank outcomes, and the Raw after the pay-per-view saw Carmelo Hayes join the 946. Additional backstage backstories and updates have circulated as the company’s event and touring plans continue to draw attention.

A report attributed to Self Made Pro and cited by Ringside News said Triple H was not particularly impressed with Tony D’Angelo’s original mafia-inspired character, and that those reservations contributed to D’Angelo’s extended run in NXT. The account described the presentation as centred on an Italian-American crime-family persona with associates, a hierarchical family structure and storylines leaning into organised-crime tropes. Over time, the report noted, D’Angelo’s character evolved beyond that initial concept and he became a prominent member of the NXT roster, reaching the NXT Championship picture. D’Angelo has previously expressed ambitions to reach Raw or SmackDown and eventually become WWE Champion.

Reports also indicate WWE altered its original plans for the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches, with Flase Finish saying Bron Breakker and Roxanne Perez had been considered as the slated winners. In the event, Penta won the men’s ladder match and Tiffany Stratton won the women’s contest; the supposed initial plans have not been officially confirmed by WWE. Betting odds, the report added, had backed Perez and Breakker as the expected victors.

Fightful reported a change in WWE’s public relations arrangements in the United Kingdom, with Romans P.R. Agency — which had handled UK communications since 2020 — no longer partnered with the company and Ready10 appointed to take over. Ready10 was named as the agency that will handle communications connected to WWE’s UK live-event schedule.

Tiffany Stratton and Penta recorded wins in the Money in the Bank ladder matches in the women’s and men’s divisions, respectively.

WWE’s next pay-per-view is Crown Jewel, scheduled to take place in Riyadh on November 7; Ready10’s upcoming UK responsibilities include Monday Night Raw in Glasgow on January 18, 2027, and Friday Night SmackDown in Manchester on January 22, 2027.
