WWE SmackDown lineup for October 16, 2026 in Sacramento: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Paige and more
WWE Friday Night SmackDown will stage its October 16 episode at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, following the Money in the Bank 2026 live pay-per-view. Multiple matches and a major segment are listed for the show, with Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton among the confirmed bouts.
Developments from the Money in the Bank weekend will be addressed on SmackDown, but there is no dedicated segment listed for the new champions or briefcase winners. Penta and Tiffany Stratton won the briefcases for men and women, respectively, whereas Liv Morgan became the winner of the Women’s World Championship. Given the event description, further appearances by those new champions or briefcase holders appear unlikely.
WWE has currently confirmed three matches and a major segment for the October 16 card in Sacramento. One headline booking is Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton, a pairing that the promotion says will include a talk segment between the two after their recent storyline.
Nikki Bella is scheduled for a rematch with Paige, and Damian Priest will face his former tag team partner R-Truth. The promotion noted that Damian Priest will face R-Truth after their partnership broke down. The show carried a social media tease reading: "R-Truth sends a message to Damian Priest before they face off on SmackDown. @RonKillings | #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/DZ5siAddPb"
Apart from the confirmed matches, WWE has listed several featured Superstars for the Sacramento broadcast, including CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Gunther, and Trick Williams. Those names appear on the event description as part of the advertised lineup for the October 16 episode.
As per updates on October 14, Crown Jewel 2026 is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on November 7. For further information and updates, follow Khel Now Wrestling on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App and join our community on Telegram & Whatsapp.
