WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown for November 6, 2026 was pre-taped on November 2 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and will air on its scheduled Friday broadcast rather than live. The recording took place immediately after Monday Night Raw to give Superstars, production staff and crew extra time to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for Crown Jewel 2026 on November 7.

The November 6 episode functioned as the go-home show for Crown Jewel, advancing multiple rivalries involving participants in the pay-per-view/live event; because the show was taped earlier in the week, spoilers and results were available before the television broadcast. WWE made the scheduling adjustment for travel logistics to the Riyadh event and confirmed the episode was not broadcast live.

The main event was a No Holds Barred match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens that spilled throughout the arena and saw both competitors use weapons; Punk put Owens through the announce table before Owens used a steel chain to knock out Punk and secure the victory. The contest closed the taped show and produced immediate spoilers from the Barclays Center recording.

Shinsuke Nakamura faced Tama Tonga in a singles match that featured interference from Talla Tonga; Kyoki neutralised Talla, which allowed Nakamura to hit the Kinshasa for the win. That segment was one of several designed to move individual storylines forward ahead of Crown Jewel.

Damian Priest wrestled Nathan Frazer in a non-title match that deteriorated before the bout properly began, with Priest powerbombing Frazer onto the announce table and Frazer subsequently being deemed medically unable to continue. Axiom confronted Priest after the incident and was also taken out during the sequence.

Women’s Tag Team Champions Michin and B-Fab defended against Fatal Influence members Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, but the match ended without a decisive result after interference from Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. Bayley and Charlotte Flair became involved elsewhere on the show, with Flair returning and confronting Jade Cargill.

Chelsea Green and Liv Morgan engaged in a faceoff in which Green, identified in the episode as the WWE Women’s Champion, spoke about wanting to establish a lasting legacy by defeating Morgan at Crown Jewel; Morgan interrupted and questioned whether Green deserved the championship opportunity. Sami Zayn addressed his upcoming Crown Jewel match with Roman Reigns, was interrupted by Jimmy Uso, and saw The 946 attack Uso while Zayn did not intervene.

Segments on SmackDown also included Gunther addressing his rivalry with Finn Bálor—claiming Bálor was past his prime—followed by Bálor interrupting and the two brawling, with Bálor gaining the upper hand, and a promo from Trick Williams reflecting on his recent Undisputed Championship loss to Sami Zayn and insisting becoming a world champion was only a matter of time. The taped November 2 edition of SmackDown will air on Friday, November 6, serving as the final televised build to Crown Jewel on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
