WWE SmackDown to broadcast live from TD Garden in Boston on August 14, 2026

Friday Night SmackDown will be broadcast live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 14, 2026, and will feature CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Trick Williams and Gunther. WWE announced multiple matches for the show following the conclusion of SummerSlam.

Last week’s SmackDown continued teasing new storylines emerging from SummerSlam, with several bouts confirmed for the August 14 broadcast. Chelsea Green’s title celebration was interrupted by Fatal Influence — Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid — and Jayne vowed to take the Women’s United States title from Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany then offered a title match in Boston in exchange for a Tag Team match against her and Chelsea in Philadelphia last week. Henley and Reid subsequently retained their Tag Team titles by defeating Green and Tiffany.

As a consequence of the confrontation, Tiffany Stratton is scheduled to defend the Women’s United States title in Boston against Jacy Jayne. That matchup was announced on last week’s SmackDown and directly follows the Fatal Influence involvement in the segment that interrupted Chelsea Green’s celebration.

United States Champion Baron Corbin, after his successful title defense against Trick Williams in a SummerSlam rematch last week, was ambushed backstage by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes informed Corbin that he had met with Nick Aldis and he’s got the US title match for his hometown for the August 14 show. That exchange sets up a United States Championship contest on the Boston card.

WWE Tag Team Champions Wepa Up (R-Truth and Damian Priest) will defend their titles in a triple threat match against the War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) and The Tongans (Talla and Tama Tonga). The triple threat tag title bout is one of the additional title matches WWE confirmed for the August 14 edition of SmackDown.

Money in the Bank is the next premium live event after SummerSlam 2026 and is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
