WWE has postponed announcing the dates for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and does not plan to reveal them in October, with the company expected to wait until November, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select. The promotion has already confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will be a two-night event in April 2027 in Riyadh.

WWE SmackDown October 2 results are slated to reveal the final participant for the Money In The Bank ladder matches, but fans have also been awaiting the WrestleMania 43 schedule. The promotion generally announces the schedule for its biggest event, yet WWE is holding off on the exact dates despite the Riyadh venue being confirmed. Fightful Select and WrestleVotes Radio report the delay stems from a combination of logistical and strategic considerations related to the Saudi show.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select says the company is not currently planning to announce the date in October and that the announcement will likely come in November. The report adds that the unusual circumstances surrounding the Saudi event — including how ticket distribution is expected to work in Riyadh — have reduced the priority of a date announcement. Fans should therefore expect at least a one-month wait for the official WrestleMania dates.

The US Department of State has issued a Level 3 travel advisory for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and urges people to "reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia," a development Fightful Select cited as complicating logistical planning. The report also notes that the current war situation in the region has generated concerns from some talent. Those security and travel considerations contributed to WWE’s decision to delay announcing the WrestleMania dates.

Crown Jewel 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Riyadh Season Stadium, described in reports as a temporary outdoor venue in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fightful Select reports that building work for the site of Crown Jewel is due to start in Riyadh later this week, a step the report characterises as giving the event a green signal. WWE sources have linked the timing of the WrestleMania announcement to progress on Crown Jewel preparations.

WWE sources told Fightful that the 'Mania 43 date announcement around the time of Crown Jewel, if not before then,' and the company is also said to be using timing strategically to keep other North American events — which would usually form WrestleMania Week — "in limbo," making scheduling harder for other promotions. Per WrestleVotes Radio, that strategic element is a significant factor alongside on-the-ground logistics. The combination of those issues has led WWE to deprioritise an immediate date release.

Crown Jewel 2026 at Riyadh Season Stadium remains the next confirmed Saudi event, with site work reported to begin later this week, and WWE sources expect the WrestleMania 43 date to be announced around Crown Jewel or in November. WrestleMania 43 itself is set to run across two nights in April 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
