Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp said he recently spoke with Drew McIntyre at a show; McIntyre has been absent from WWE television since losing to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42 in April.
Rick Ucchino of The Takedown on SI reported TNA has shown serious interest in bringing in multiple members of the Wyatt Sicks, though Ucchino wrote that no agreement had been confirmed. Penta’s World Heavyweight Title match against Roman Reigns closed the September 14 Raw in Mexico City, and Reigns retained the title in his fourth defence. Lucha Libre Online reported that WWE officials backstage at Monday’s Raw were highly impressed by Penta’s performance and that the company views Penta as a potential major draw for the long term.
