Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando clash in Colombo; disciplinary outcome to be decided

Yashasvi Jaiswal collided physically with Sri Lankan pace bowler Asitha Fernando in the first session of Day 1 of the second Test between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo, and match officials will determine whether any sanction follows under the ICC Code of Conduct.

Though surely Jaisvi’s actions do not immediately attract any disciplinary misconduct, it remains to be seen if the player is handed any demerit points by the match referee.
