Yourmanorborne, Satyavan and Coffee At Eleven excel in Pune morning workouts
Pune: Yourmanorborne, Satyavan and Coffee At Eleven excelled during the horses' morning exercise session on Sunday (Aug. 30).
Workouts covered distances from 600m up to 1800m, with timed fractions and trainers' comments recorded for individual runners; riders on the day included A. Gaikwad, Gore, T.S. Jodha, Prasad and N.B. Kuldeep among others, and the report noted pair work and positional margins.
At the 600m clockings, Yinsiruk (A. Gaikwad) recorded 38 and was described as having moved freely, while Phantom Strike (Gore) did 41 and was noted as easy.
In the 800m sets, Dancing Cloud (app) and Mysteriousstranger (rb) covered 56, 600/41 and were described as pair level; Dashing Cheri (rb) did 56, 600/43 and was urged, while Scaramouche (T.S. Jodha) posted 53, 600/39 and worked freely. Pentimento (app) and Snow Sky (Shelar) recorded 57, 600/43 with the former ending three lengths in front; Victory Flair (Shahrukh) did 54, 600/39 and moved freely. New Star (Yash) and Golden Gun (S.J. Sunil) were timed at 55, 600/40 and moved together freely, while Starbuster (T.S. Jodha) did 55, 600/40 and was urged; Trail Blazer (N. Bhosale) covered 52, 600/39 and moved well.
The 1000m work included Juracan (app0 1-6, 800/52, 600/39) which was said to have worked well; Styx (T.S. Jodha) and Ricochet (P. Vinod) were 1-9, 800/53, 600/39 with the former finishing well clear. Coffee At Eleven (Prasad) posted 1-5, 800/50, 600/37 and was described as moving impressively; Rivayat (Shelar) and Bee Magical (Hamir) ran 1-7, 800/52, 600/39 and moved neck and neck freely. Jagger (T.S Jodha) recorded 1-7, 800/53, 600/40 and was pressed in the last part; Mystica (Mosin) did 1-7, 800/54, 600/41 and was pressed, while Satyavan (Gore) posted 1-6, 800/51, 600/38 and moved nicely.
At 1200m, Miami Vice (Parmar) and Key West (rb) were 1-25, 1000/1-9, 800/54, 600/40 with the former finishing four lengths ahead; Rafael (rb) covered 1-24, 1000/1-9, 800/54, 600/40 and was slightly urged. Inheritance (Mosin) and Imperial Dawn (rb) recorded 1-24, 1000/1-10, 800/56, 600/42 with the former ending four lengths in front. Over the longer distances, Tropical Paradise (rb) and Beast Mode (Parmar) were 1-51, 1400/1-36, 1200/1-22, 1000/1-8, 800/54, 600/41 and were reported to have moved well; Caspian (Kaviraj) and Absolute Majesty (Dashrath) posted 1-53, 1400/1-38, 1200/1-22, 1000/1-7, 800/53, 600/40 with the former starting five lengths behind and finishing level. Yourmanorborne (N.B. Kuldeep) completed 1800m work in 2-3, 1600/1-49, 1400/1-35, 1200/1-21, 1000/1-7, 800/53, 600/40 and was described in the report as having excelled.
Mock races run on Saturday (Aug. 29) were also noted: in an 1800m mock, Zuccaro (Vivek G), Dyf (Yash) and Matisse (A. Prakash) were 1-52, 600/36 and finished with margins of 3/4 and 7-1/2. A second mock over 1200m featured Marius (app), Fourth Wing (Prasad), Rules (app), Between Friends (app), Meadow Springs (app), Theodosius (app) and Commanchero (Ajinkya) at 1-11, 600/36, with winning margins of 1-1/2, 8 and 5-1/2; Marius won the race pillar to post, while Fourth Wing was a notable second.
