Zed Entertainment secures Coppa Italia 2026–27 rights in India; streaming on ZEE5 and FanCode, TV on Unite8 Sports

Zed Entertainment Enterprises has purchased the Indian media rights to the Coppa Italia 2026–27, which runs from August 9, 2025, to May 13, 2026. The deal will make the tournament available to viewers in India during that period.

Up to the 2009-0 season, the DDS and Lega Calcio organised the knockout competition; after that, Lega Serie A took over. The competition has expanded several times and this edition will feature 44 teams, allowing clubs from the lower Italian divisions to take part.

The Coppa Italia is one of the top competitions in Italy and involves teams from every division. Serie A giants have been more successful historically, with clubs such as Juventus, Inter and Milan winning the trophy often, while the tournament also provides a platform for smaller clubs to test themselves against higher-level opposition.

In India, live coverage will be available online through ZEE5 and the FanCode app, with television broadcasts carried on Unite8 Sports channels. Those platforms will carry matches following Zed Entertainment Enterprises’ acquisition of the Italian football media rights.

With fifteen trophies, Juventus lead the competition, followed by Inter Milan with ten. Juventus have participated in 22 finals, the most of any side, followed by Roma with 17, and Inter Milan enter the tournament as the defending champions.
