Zee Entertainment named SLK 2026 broadcast partner as season opens on 25th September
On September 21, 2026, Super League Kerala announced Zee Entertainment as its broadcasting partner for the 2026 season, which begins in Kerala on 25th September with a repeat of last season’s final between Kannur Warriors FC and Thrissur Magic FC at 8:00 PM. The league confirmed live digital and linear coverage arrangements for audiences in India and the UAE.
Following a successful 2025 campaign, Super League Kerala enters its third season with a change in broadcast rights: Sony Sports Network carried the 2025 season, while Zee Entertainment will handle coverage for 2026. The announcement notes Zee’s growing football portfolio through competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, Bundesliga, Serie A and Coppa Italia. SLK organisers also confirmed that the same six clubs from last season will compete in 2026.
The six participating teams are Kannur Warriors FC, Thrissur Magic FC, Calicut FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, Forca Kochi FC and Malappuram FC. The league’s rosters include recognisable players named in the release, among them Roy Krishna, Mailson Alves and Ishan Pandita. Organisers described the 2026 line-up as retaining the core clubs from the previous season.
Matchday scheduling for the opening phase has been published, with the first matchday set for 25th September–27th September. After the 25th’s rematch of the 2025 final, Calicut FC face Thiruvananthapuram Kombans on 26th September. The final fixture of matchday one will pit Forca Kochi against Malappuram FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on 27th September.
Broadcast arrangements specify that SLK 2026 will be livestreamed digitally on Zee5, with linear coverage on Unite8 Sports within India and Etisalat providing distribution in the UAE. Fans will be able to view matches via the respective TV channels or through the applications on laptop, PC or mobile devices, according to the league statement.
The league release also recorded that Kannur Warriors were the winners of Super League Kerala 2025-26. Organisers emphasised continuity in club participation while confirming new broadcast partners for the upcoming season.
SLK 2026 opens with Kannur Warriors FC versus Thrissur Magic FC at 8:00 PM on 25th September, kicking off the first matchday that runs through 27th September under the new broadcast arrangements.
