Álex Vallejo’s stoppage‑time strike earns FC Goa 1-1 draw with Sporting Club Delhi at Fatorda

FC Goa recovered a stoppage-time equaliser to draw 1-1 with Sporting Club Delhi at the Fatorda Stadium in an MG Indian Super League fixture on Wednesday. Juan Pena put Sporting Club Delhi ahead in the 52nd minute before Álex Vallejo levelled in the 90+5th minute.
Both sides began the match with attacking intent and high pressing, probing for an early breakthrough. FC Goa fashioned the first clear chance when Samsanga narrowly missed at the far post in the eighth minute, then had a 19th-minute effort ruled out for offside after a through ball from Francisco Feuillassier. Muhammed Nemil tested the crossbar in the 37th minute when his first touch opened space in the final third.
Goa resumed the second half on the front foot, with Nemil finding Feuillassier inside the six-yard box but Nora Fernandes producing a crucial save to keep the visitors level. Sporting Club Delhi capitalised on that reprieve seven minutes later when they launched a swift counterattack; Rodrigunho supplied the assist for Juan Pena, who finished emphatically with his right foot to give Delhi the lead in the 52nd minute.
As the match moved into its closing stages FC Goa pushed for an equaliser, and a defensive error from Delhi presented Vallejo with a chance in the first minute of stoppage time, but his cross did not find Chiki. In the fifth minute of added time Feuillassier delivered a dangerous free-kick into the penalty area and Vallejo timed his run to meet the ball in front of the goalkeeper and turn it into the net.
