Asian Games: Narender Berwal wins heavyweight bronze; Parveen Hooda, Ankush Panghal reach finals

Narender Berwal won a bronze medal in the men’s +90kg boxing at the Asian Games on September 29, 2026, after losing to Kazakhstan’s Aibek Oralbay in the semifinals by unanimous decision.

Parveen Hooda advanced to the women’s 65kg final with a decisive win over China’s Li Shu.

Ankush Panghal also reached a final at the Asian Games.
