Coventry among three Premier League clubs pursuing Mudryk on loan

Coventry City are one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, 25, on loan, according to transfer gossip published on Wednesday, 11 August 2026. Chelsea are reported to be prepared to sanction a loan move for the Ukraine international.

The same round of reports says Barcelona remain in negotiations with Manchester City over a move for Spain midfielder Rodri, 30, despite a failed first bid last week. Sources also link several Premier League and European clubs with defensive and attacking targets across continuing summer activity.

Inter Milan are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over England right-back Djed Spence, with the deal reported at 30m euros (£25.6m); the 26-year-old is said to be keen on a move to the Serie A champions. Manchester United, meanwhile, are said to prioritise Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall, 21, with the England international reportedly in favour of a transfer to Old Trafford.

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sell England midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly, 19, to Chelsea or Manchester United after the arrival of Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes, 28, from Newcastle, according to the reports. Everton are pushing to sign a right-back in the next seven to 10 days, with Celtic and Canada’s Alistair Johnston, 27, West Ham’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 28, and Genoa’s Brooke Norton-Cuffy, 22, among the targets.
