Global fan groups launch #InfantinoOut petition calling for Gianni Infantino to resign

Football fan groups worldwide launched the #InfantinoOut petition on August 20, 2026, calling for FIFA president Gianni Infantino to resign over his attempt to sell future World Cup profits to private investors.

Around 40 national groups backed the campaign and criticised his leadership and lack of transparency.

They also cited his support for the European Super League and biennial World Cups as reasons for their demands.
