Hardik Pandya wins $100,000 on MrBeast baseball challenge and donates prize

Hardik Pandya took part in a baseball challenge in a MrBeast video published on November 1, 2026, winning 100,000 US Dollars (Rs 94.9 lakh approx) and donating the full amount to charity. He defeated MrBeast in a contest decided by who hit more home runs.
Pandya traded his cricket bat for a baseball bat to appear in the video, which featured prominent sporting personalities from different disciplines. MrBeast, known for elaborate challenges and large cash prizes, organised the stunt. The appearance put Pandya into a non-cricket setting where the format tested raw hitting ability.
The 33-year-old donated the entire 100,000 US Dollars to multiple charities. The beneficiaries named were organisations working towards the welfare of dogs in need and underprivileged children.
Pandya has been making appearances outside cricket while his absence from the international game has been a talking point. He last represented India in the 2026 T20 World Cup final in Ahmedabad. Since that match, his only competitive outings have been in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians, with his last competitive appearance on May 24 during the IPL.
He missed several international assignments after the World Cup, including India's home series against Afghanistan, which featured both ODIs and T20Is. Pandya also did not take part in the subsequent tour of Ireland and England. His absence continued during the home ODI series against West Indies.
Pandya is also set to miss India's ongoing tour of New Zealand, extending his spell away from international cricket.
For now, the all-rounder has found a different way to make headlines by taking on a sport outside his usual domain. His decision to donate the prize ensured the victory extended beyond the baseball challenge, with the money set to support charitable causes.
