Henrietta Flavia Pereira became the most expensive player at the inaugural Women’s Andhra Premier League auction in Vijayawada on Tuesday when Godavari Golden Eagles paid ₹4.3 lakhs to sign the all-rounder. Rayalaseema Zen Stars secured World Cup winner N. Shree Charani for ₹1.1 lakhs, though her participation remains to be seen as she is set to be in action for India at the Asian Games, whose schedule (September 17 to 22) clashes with WAPL’s (September 15 to 26).

Twelve-year-old A. Shanmukha Priya was the youngest player picked at the auction, with Zen Stars spending ₹30 thousand to sign her. Amaravati e-Champions were the biggest spenders overall at ₹14.95 lakhs, followed by Godavari Golden Eagles at ₹14.80 lakhs, with Rayalaseema Zen Stars and Vizag Fire Birds each spending ₹14 lakhs. Rayalaseema Zen Stars were the only franchise to complete a full 20-player squad; the other three teams finalised 18-member squads.

Amaravati e-Champions announced an 18-player list that includes Neeragattu Anusha, Kandregula Devika, Katragadda Deeksha, Shabnam Md. Shakil, Tarini Joshi, Parasa Ranga Lakshmi, Katta Mahanthi Sree, K. Hamsa, Ankam Vishnu Priya, K. Hema Sai Ramya, Karri Sai Poojitha, Nakka Sana, Oruganti Sahithi Sri, Bogiya Sai Deepthy, Boddupalli Tanishqa, Thalluri Mallika, M. Sahasra Reddy and M. Ruksar Tabasum. Godavari Golden Eagles’ squad features Henrietta Flavia Pereira alongside K. Pushpitha Gowda, Vadde Akshaya, Gundupalli Udvitha, Peka Vinny Suzan, Korukonda Harika, Bathula Harshitha, Shristi Sekhar, M. Mahalakshmi Manoja, Chintapalli Meher Lahari, Sadi Aditi Megna Reddy, Baggam Anjana, T. Niveditha, Kinthada Vaishnavi, P. Vanajakshi, Sangani Durga Bhavani, Gamidi Ragha Chowdary and Pasagadugula Vaishnavi. The Golden Eagles’ list comprises 18 players. Rayalaseema Zen Stars announced a 20-player squad that includes Vemulapati Setu Sai, Ellutla Padmaja, M. Greeshma Saini Reddy, Nallapu Reddy Sree Charani, Kokkiligadda Dhathri, K. Vasavi Akhila Pavani, Bareddy Malli Anusha, Sajja Sai Lakshmi, Avula Chinna Sireesha, Malakonda Poojitha, Kolathur Subhasri, Y. Hema Roshini, Garapati Likitha, J. Meghana Sri, G. Muni Neethisha, Allugunti Hansi Reddy, A. Shanmukha Priya, G. Varsha, K. Harshitha Gowda and Dara Chaitra. Zen Stars completed the only full 20-player roster among the franchises. Their list was confirmed as part of the auction results.

Vizag Fire Birds finalised an 18-player roster comprising K. Anjali Sarvani, Ayesha Singh, Veera Vidya Sree, Palnati Rishika Krishnan, Pendyala Sarayu, Vurukuti Pushpa Latha, M. Hasini Choudhary, Saranya Gadwal, B.V.S.L.S.R.S. Sai Thanmayi, Mayassar Anjum, Palla Yuhasini, B. Madhura Sanjana Priya, Koppula Divya Sree, Dasari Vishwasree, Nakka Samantha, M. Niyathi Raj, K. Yashaswini Mani Valli and K.Y.M. Vishnu Vardhini. The Fire Birds’ list contains 18 players. The team’s roster was published following the auction.

N. Shree Charani’s availability for WAPL remains uncertain because she is expected to be in action for India at the Asian Games, whose schedule (September 17 to 22) overlaps with the WAPL dates (September 15 to 26).
