Dempo SC sit atop the IFL 2026-27 points table after two wins from two matches, with Shillong Lajong second on four points following their draw with Chanmari. Newly promoted Nagaland United SC occupy third place with three points from their opening victory over Real Kashmir FC on Matchday 1, and Gokulam Kerala FC and Sreenidi Deccan FC are level on points, wins and goal difference in fourth and fifth respectively.
The opening fixture of the double header saw two winless sides meet in the Silicon Valley of India; FC Bengaluru United emerged victorious and four different scorers — Marat Tareck, Gautam Virwani, Naocha Singha and Tyagi — were named as having found the net for the home side. The match featured seven goals in total and gave Bengaluru United their first three points of the season.
The second game, billed as a NorthEastern derby, finished 1-1 after an early own goal by Joedson put Chanmari FC ahead and a late strike from Jachi rescued a point for Shillong Lajong. The shared points represented Chanmari’s first fixture of the campaign and moved them to seventh place with one point.
Bengaluru United’s win placed them sixth in the standings on three points, while Rajasthan United sit directly behind Chanmari with one point from one match. Samaleswari SC occupy ninth place after losing both of their opening games and remaining without a point, and Mohammedan are second from bottom following their second defeat of the season.
Real Kashmir FC are bottom of the table in 11th and will aim to register their first points when they face Sreenidi Deccan FC at the TRC Stadium in Srinagar on 7th November. Matchweek 2 still contains one more matchday before the Diwali break, with Rajasthan United scheduled to play Gokulam Kerala in the first fixture of that day, a game in which Gokulam can move to the top of the standings with a victory.
K Hriata of Nagaland United and Crislan of Gokulam Kerala FC are tied atop the IFL 2026-27 Golden Boot standings with two goals apiece; the league table remains led by Dempo SC following the Shillong Lajong FC v Chanmari FC result.
