India and Pakistan will meet in the men's cricket final of the Asian Games 2026 at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Saturday, October 03, 2026. The match is the tournament decider for the gold medal.

Both sides reached the final by winning their semifinal matches. India defeated Sri Lanka in the semis. Pakistan advanced past Bangladesh to set up the title clash.

India reached the final after a dominant semifinal in which they beat Sri Lanka by a record margin of 124 runs. Ishan Kishan scored 80* off 46 balls and helped India post a competitive total. India’s bowlers then dismissed Sri Lanka for just 45 runs.

Pakistan moved into the final by edging Bangladesh by six wickets while chasing 112 in a 13-over match. During the chase they required 68 runs in the last six overs. Hasan Nawaz (27* off 22) and Abdul Samad (30* off 15) remained unbeaten and took Pakistan into the final; for the first time, Pakistan’s men’s cricket team will compete for the gold.

The final will be played on Saturday, October 03, 2026, at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin. The match will begin at 10:00 AM IST (2 pm local). The toss is scheduled at 9:30 AM IST and 1:00 PM local.
