Medals for India at these Games have arrived across distance races, throws, jumps, relays, sprints and combined events. Several competitors recorded personal bests and national records while others added to their previous Asian Games medal tallies.

Harita Bhadra set a new personal best to take bronze in the women’s 200m. Parul Chaudhary bettered her own personal best and rewrote the National Record in the women’s 3000m Steeplechase to win bronze; she had won silver in the event in 2022.
Tajinderpal Singh Toor won his third consecutive Asian Games medal with a silver in the men’s shot put event. Manpreet Kaur claimed bronze in the women’s shot put, becoming the third Indian woman to win an Asian Games medal in that event.
