Dinesh Karthik issued a message to Gautam Gambhir that India should consider resting Abhishek Sharma if they want to include Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the playing XI, following Sooryavanshi's absence from the fourth T20I in the series against New Zealand.
Sooryavanshi's absence in the fourth T20I allowed Ishan Kishan to recover.
Sanju Samson has shown promise but his recent form has dipped.
With the series against New Zealand secured, the final T20I serves as a platform to experiment with combinations.
