NorthEast United FC will welcome Bengaluru FC to the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex in Guwahati on Friday, October 30, 2026, in their fourth Indian Super League 2026-27 fixture; kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM IST.

NorthEast United arrive back in Guwahati after a disappointing outing in Bhubaneswar last week under coach Juan Pedro Benali, while Bengaluru, managed by Jose Munoz, make their first away appearance of the campaign following two successive home wins. NorthEast United have recorded two wins and a draw in three matches and sit top of the standings with seven points, whereas Bengaluru have won both of their opening fixtures and scored five goals across those two games.

In Bhubaneswar, NorthEast United missed a last-minute penalty that could have secured victory, a setback the Highlanders will look to rectify on home soil. That result came amid an otherwise encouraging start to the season for Benali’s side, who will aim to consolidate their position at the summit of the table.

Bengaluru travel to Guwahati buoyed by a 2-0 win over Chennaiyin FC last week and with additional recovery time before this match. The Blues’ five-goal return from two fixtures has underlined their attacking intent early in the campaign, a facet Munoz will seek to exploit against the Highlanders.

Both teams are expected to deploy strong starting XIs for the clash, with the following predicted lineups provided: NorthEast United — Gurmeet Singh (GK), Nikhil Barla, Asheer Akhtar, Eneko Satrustegui, Pramveer, Antonio Moyano, Macarton Louis Nickson, Mayakkannan, Ethyan Gonzalez, Abdul Rabeeh, Alaeddine Ajaraie. Bengaluru FC — Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (GK), Naorem Roshan Singh, Chinglensana Singh, Menno Koch, Shivaldo Singh, Lalremtluanga Fanai, Suresh Singh Wangjam, Borja Martinez, Ashique Kuruniyan, Ryan Williams, Mihailo Perovic.

Nikola Ninković has been identified as one of NorthEast United’s most notable summer signings; the Serbian playmaker is credited with adding creativity and the ability to play across multiple positions, including providing line-breaking passes. For Bengaluru, Borja Martinez has been a standout performer, registering two goals and an assist so far this season and operating as a central figure in the visitors’ midfield.

Historical results between the sides show Bengaluru with the superior record in previous meetings: Won by NorthEast United FC – 2 Won by Bengaluru FC – 9.

The match will be streamed live on the Indian Super League’s YouTube channel and on Sony LIV, and it will be televised on the Sony Sports Network.
