Parul Chaudhary wins bronze with personal best to claim second Asiad steeplechase medal

Parul Chaudhary won bronze in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the 2026 Asian Games, breaking her personal best to claim her second Asiad steeplechase medal.

She clocked 9:08.67, improving her performance from previous competitions.

Bahrain's Winfred Yavi won gold and Kazakhstan's Norah Jeruto Tanui took silver.

Fellow Indian Ankita finished just outside the podium, while Sarvesh Kushare and Ancy Sojan both earned silver medals in their events.
