In Bengaluru on Tuesday morning, August 25, a number of horses drew attention during a scheduled exercise session, with timed works conducted over multiple distances at the training track.
The session covered timed pieces at 600m, 1,000m, 1,200m, 1,400m and 1,600m, plus gate practice on the inner sand over 1,200m; individual efforts were recorded with rider credits and brief notes on condition or action.
At 600m, Regal Beauty (R. Pradeep) posted 41 and was reported In fine nick. Desert Shield (Sachin) covered the distance in 45.5 with the note Easy. Flamingo Dream (Vivek) did 46.5 and Moved freely, while War Queen (Rajesh K) recorded 46.5 and Moved on the bit; Diana (Rajesh K) completed the 600m in 45.5 and Moved well.
Over 1,000m, Lockheed (Rajesh K) returned 1-16, 600/44.5 and was described as In fine trim. Larissa (B. Paswan) logged 1-16, 600/45 and Shaped well. Echoes Of Time (Shinde) ran 1-9, 600/41 and Responded well to the urgings; Osaka (D. Patel) covered 1-14, 600/42 and Strode out well. Sprezzatura (Shinde) recorded 1-13.5, 600/41 and was noted A fine display.
In the 1,200m works, Sindoor (Antony) posted 1-31.5, 1,000/1-13.5, 600/43 and was In fine trim. Perfect Attitude (Antony) returned 1-28.5, 1,000/1-9, 600/40 and was singled out to Catch the eye. Disciple (Antony) did 1-29, 1,000/1-14, 600/43.5 and Worked well; Sensuous (Shinde) recorded 1-26.5, 1,000/1-12.5, 600/43.5 and Stretched out well. Star Comet (Reza) posted 1-31.5, 1,000/1-12.5, 600/44 and Eased up; Teak (Ritesh G) returned 1-28.5, 1,000/1-9, 600/41 and produced A good display. Military Code (P. Trevor) did 1-30, 1,000/1-14, 600/44 and Moved freely.
For the longer pieces, Inicio (rb) recorded 1-46, (1,400-600) 58.5 and Eased up over 1,400m. Moon Star (Shinde) posted 1-39.5, 1,200/1-23.5, 1,000/1-9.5, 600/42 and Stretched in the last part. Majestic Legacy (Antony) ran 1-43.5, 1,200/1-29, 1,000/1-14, 600/43 and was In fine shape. At 1,600m, Winfield (Antony) covered 1-56, 1,400/1-41.5, 1,200/1-26.5, 1,000/1-12.5, 600/43 and was Pleased; Mandate (Aleemuddin) returned 1-56, 1,400/1-40, 1,200/1-25, 1,000/1-11, 600/43 and Impressed.
Gate practice on the inner sand over 1,200m saw White Secret (rb) and Dr Ash (M. Naveen) do 1-23, (1,200-600) 39.5 with the former showing out. All Attraction (B. Paswan) posted 1-31, (1,200-600) 43 and Jumped out well; Divo (Chetan) did 1-30, (1,200-600) 45.5 and Jumped out well. Seize The Grey (Salman) and Bezawada Sultan (Sachin) recorded 1-18.5, (1,200-600) 38.5 with the former finished well ahead. Art Collection (rb) posted 1-27, (1,200-600) 44 and Took a good jump; Joyful Spirit (Kiran Rai) and Fiery Love (Rajesh K) did 1-22.5, (1,200-600) 40 with the former finished four lengths ahead.
