Real Gold and Bravo Zulu excel during Pune morning exercise session
Real Gold and Bravo Zulu excelled when the horses were exercised in Pune on Monday (Sept. 28) morning. The session included timed works over 800m, 1000m and longer distances, plus gate practice on the inner sand.

Longer gallops included Chilton Lodge (Neeraj) at 1200m with 1-23, 1000/1-8, 800/54, 600/40 and Pressed, and Pyrite (Mosin) at 1400m with 1-37, 1200/1-21, 1000/1-8, 800/54, 600/42 and Moved nicely.
Gate practice on the inner sand featured State Express (Shahrukh) and Dancing Cloud (rb) at 1000m, both 1-8, 800/53, 600/41; They were pushed and finished level. Bravo Zulu (C. Umesh) recorded 1-2, 800/48, 600/37 with an Excellent display; Esconido (Mosin) 1-6, 800/51, 600/38 and Moved well; Highground (Siddharth) 1-4, 800/50, 600/38 and Responded well. Muqaddar (app) and Shadow Phoenix (Ajinkya) were 1-8, 800/51, 600/38, with Former finished four lengths ahead; Ageisjustanumber (Ramswarup) and Tyrannus (Pranil) 1-4, 800/49, 600/37, with Former finished six lengths ahead; Saffron Glow (Vishal) 1-10, 800/56, 600/44 and Easy.
Mock races noted on Sept. 27 saw Spanish Eyes (N. Bhosale) beat Dancing Star (J. Chinoy), Ashwa Tazbeez (Gore), Go Tonto (Pranil) and Sandokan (Avinash) over 1200m, listed as 1-10, 600/36 with margins 5, 1-1/4 and 2-3/4; Spanish Eyes won the race impressively.
