Roman Reigns defeated Sami Zayn in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel on November 7 at The Venue (ANB Arena) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, extending his undefeated streak at the Premium Live Event.

The Crown Jewel card featured several high-profile matches and two Champion-vs.-Champion bouts where the winner would claim the event’s Crown Jewel title; betting markets had favoured the World Heavyweight Champion to prevail. The live show hosted multiple title changes and stipulation matches across its undercard.

Sami Zayn opened strongly against Reigns, using grappling to work Reigns into the corner and then taking the contest outside the ring, repeatedly sending Reigns into the barricade and commentary desk while maintaining control of the pace. The Undisputed WWE Champion countered with a series of clotheslines, a big boot and a drive-by dropkick; Zayn answered with a Blue Thunder Bomb and a diving attack outside the ring before surviving multiple Superman Punches.

The match turned chaotic when Reigns accidentally struck the referee with a Superman Punch, allowing Zayn to hit a Helluva Kick without securing a pinfall. Zayn briefly attempted to use the championship belt before Reigns countered with a spear; Reigns connected with a subsequent spear to score the three-count and retain the championship. .@WWERomanReigns just speared @SamiZayn for the win! 😱 pic.twitter.com/SXEkFCPhkz

After the bout, Zayn initially refused to permit Triple H to present Reigns with the title, then offered a handshake while demanding recognition for his performance; Reigns declined at first but later embraced Zayn in the ring. On the undercard, Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match, and Penta and Je’Von Evans captured the Men’s Tag Team Championship by defeating members of the Vision faction. Chelsea Green won the Women’s Crown Jewel title during the event, but Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract at the PLE to pin Green and become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

WWE’s next Premium Live Event is scheduled as Survivor Series: WarGames on November 28, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
