Royal Legacy, Tipped Off, Maana and Pledge stand out in Bengaluru morning gallops

Royal Legacy, Tipped Off, Maana and Pledge produced eye-catching works when horses were exercised in Bengaluru on Monday morning, August 24. Multiple other runners also posted notable times over distances from 600m to 1,400m during the session.

The morning programme featured short sprints and longer gallops, with recorded efforts at 600m, 1,000m, 1,200m and 1,400m. At 600m, Lorven’s Glory (Rajesh K) and Alpha Legend (Kiran Rai) recorded 40 while African Gold (R. Pradeep) returned 37.5 and was described as "Impressed." Lasya (Reza) ran a 600m in 46 and was reported as "Easy."

In the 1,200m and 1,000m brackets, Echoes Of Time (rb) produced splits of 1-24, 1,000/1-9, 600/41 and was said to have "Moved freely." Moon Oracle (Antony) covered 1,400m in 1-37 with intermediate times of 1,200/1-21.5, 1,000/1-6, 600/38.5 and was noted to have "Stretched out well." Mericle Beauty (Kiran Rai) returned 1-14.5 for 1,000m with a 600m of 45 and was described as "Moved on the bit."

Among the 1,200m contingent, Inicio (rb) posted 1-33 with a (1,200-600) split of 43 and was reported to have "Eased up." Mandalay (Aleemuddin) recorded 1-31, (1,200-600) 44 and was said to have "Moved freely." Pledge (Arul) posted 1-30.5, 1,000/1-12, 600/41.5 and was described as "Impressed." Transformative (Laxman S) had 1-28, 1,000/1-11.5, 600/42.5 and was said to have "Strode out well." Fine Silver (R. Pradeep) recorded 1-31, 1,000/1-14.5, 600/43.5 and was noted as "In fine trim."

The 1,400m works featured the horses highlighted in the headline: Maana (Laxman S.) ran 1-42.5 with splits of 1,200/1-24.5, 1,000/1-10, 600/42.5 and was called "A good display." Tipped Off (Ritesh G.) returned 1-38, 1,200/1-23.5, 1,000/1-10, 600/43 and was reported to have "Responded well to the urgings." Royal Legacy (D. Patel) recorded 1-45, 1,200/1-26, 1,000/1-10, 600/41 and was said to have "Moved fluently."
